Well its been a few months since I have messed with it. But its time to buy a skid steer and I need to fix and sell the truck.

Initial problem, pulling up the driveway with skid steer on trailer, truck bucks sputters...quits.

Cranks, no start.

Tach moving during cranking

I remove chip (old Tony's 4 pos)

still no fire

Get AE running, no codes other than turbo overboost
HPOP 500 psi during cranking, no call for injectors, did notice in AE it is showing cranking RPM 0.

I change CAM sensor still same thing

Truck does have a Swamps HPOP that is probably 3 years old.

Any ideas ? I am almost thinking my CAM sensor harness could be hosed up somewhere. I am going to get back to looking tonight.

THANKS!

Will do, I need to find the schematics to ohm it out. That is the only sensor to send crank speed back correct?

My 7.3 Fu has become weak!

What's a good CPS resistance value?

See if the CAM sensor will pick up anything. Like a magnetic.

Ill be working on it some later this week, going to try to get the batteries to come back to life tomorrow night, and ring out the wiring harness.

if you have no rpm on the SCANTOOL (tach is irrelevant)...then it's CPS related (sensor, wiring, cam too far from sensor, etc)

..also note the 'only 500psi' for ICP is still borderline...

the PCM should ramp up ICP pressure continuously during a crank no start to 1200+

so you may have more than one issue
