Figured I should share what I spend my spare time and money on with everyone finally. I just started posting due to a bad classifieds purchase, so guess it brought me outa my box, SO HELLO EVERYONE!

I put Punisher II on title as to not hurt Danny's feelings (if he even cares) since I didn't ask him if I could steal his idea, in fact thought of it on my own and then saw he was already doing it after the pumpkin truck.

Anyway it started life as you see in the picture as a blowed up tranny redkneck truck with lift, TS chip, exhaust, wheels and tires, and oh ya a truck horn lol. I went on to build the tranny myself with RacerX parts and steal all the good stuff off my big 99 CCLB 7.3, which was 238/100, GTP38R, T500, Reg return and off to the races I went and got hooked. Most of my family races as well as nieces and nephews. Sorry long winded just trying to recap some.

Here's the truck when I bought it back in 2010.

Shortly thereafter I started down a road I'm proud of now, but should not have done by myself. I decided I didn't like the visor or the fender flares or the bumper (due to weight drag racing) or running boards, the list goes on and on. I was just super excited to get ahold of an e99 for so cheap. Little did the wife know what dreams I had.

So into the shop and under the knife it went which started with removing the visor to which found holes where they had to bolts it on, so welded those up and started sanding (oops I say). Then removed the fender flares that had been on for who knows how long as they wore down to bare metal, so onto more sanding. before I knew it I was in middle of sanding and painting the whole damn thing and finding all kinds of flaws (big oops on my part) Pretty happy how it turned out for a rookie who only basically watched his dad do it all with of course helping sand.

Don't ask me why I primed it that damn light of a color, the SEM paint I used told me it was a dark gray (whatever... I say) Here is how my flat black paint turned out back in May of 2012

So the 238/100 and 38R were definitely not enough for me, so I got all the stuff added in my sig. That setup got me into the low 13's in the 1/4 with those big 285/75r/17 Nitto Dune Grapplers. Here's a few pics running at the NHRDA event in Billings, MT

Once I went to the 350/200's and S468FMW with other stuff in sig I also changed my tires to 265/70r/16's Toyo Proxis II with the stock wheels painted black. The Nito package weighed 92lbs at 32" tall and the Toyo package only weighed 55lbs at 29.5" tall :jawdrop:

Setup in my sig got me to 7.39 in the 1/8th which is a 11.6 1/4  ... but of course I wanted more and came across a fully built motor in the classifieds I snatched it up. (might I add here that it was an awesome purchasing experience, even down to sending me pics of the motor being crated). So here is how the Punisher looked right before going under the knife again this winter.

So I left a lot out but that basically fast forwarded us to the current state of affairs with my truck. Many things tried and many baby steps which made it so I had to do things over and over and keep upgrading something else. Oh well, enjoyed it all and only thing I haven't done myself to my truck is build the bottom end of the motor and I finally decided to get a BTS tranny after toasting my build with NOS.

I've done quite a bit this winter already, which includes 6-point rollbar due to rules, detroit locker in rear, 400/400 injectors, a Gen3, and a custom S476 is on its way. Planning on trying some slicks this year to as I was able to spin in 4x4 half track a few times last year trying to better my 60ft's.

Actually 6900 last time I wieghed it with the bigger tires, so probably 6700 now. I'm done towing my dads race car to the track so gonna lose the hitch, tailgate, and getting a race seat with harness so I need to weigh it again.

I was asked for photo of how I attached roll bar to frame. On truck roll bars they have to be welded to the frame with outriggers which are in the kit also but are simply square tubing. If you get the mild steel you can use a mig welder and I thought any idiot could weld with one of them, well I was wrong as my welds look like ass so don't hate. Also I couldn't get a hole saw into the tight space to cut through cab floor so out came the torches.

The current setup IS a blast to drive so not sure I'm doing the right thing with changing to 400/400 and S476.
