Anyone running anything besides the .91 I've been toyin with the thought of a 1.0 but not sure if it's worth it. Ideally Id like to hear from someone that's ran both housing with some 250/100's. My main goal would be to drop egt's. I'm not a big fan of misting systems either

Misting? As in water injection?

Shame... About the best way possable to control EGT's...

Thats sure not much of a housing jump...

Buy water injection and be done with it a more open housing will not help cruising egts it will make it worse straight water is your best cost effective way to do it just make sure everything falls away from the motor and a good controller/check valves & solenoids

I've been thinking about running water injection but I'm trying to avoid it. Lines, water tanks, solonoids.. More chit under the hood is not what I want. I've been thinking about tossing the 366 and switching to a rebuild gt4202 instead. These 250/100 with David's tunning are just to much for this baby ass turbo.. It's either cool mist or a gt4202 and no I'm not going to switch tuners to keep my egt's in check. I didn't buy a larger injector to have it dialed back. I like David's tunning style "go big or go home"

Gtx are way to much money.. I need a trans before that. You guys are nuts the s366 is a bad little turbo it's just to small. If I could get my hands on a T4 compatible 1.0 gt4294 I'd be happy

:whs: ... Yea I should have gated it but I didn't I feel it's a good turbo for stage 2s maybe.. I ran an hx50 for 2 years at 12 more psi and never had a problem with it..

Agreed, had it been gated you'd probably have a different out look on it. I like it it but IMO it doesnt flow enough air for 250/100's stretched wide open. I think a gt4294 or 467 with a very aggressive tune and 250/100's would be perfect. No water injection needed.

I really like my S366 with 250/100 very streetable. Keeps egts 1100 and below. So if you are just daily driving and want instant response I like the S366. But when I begin pulling and All out running I will be running a S400 series turbo. Just my 2 cents.

1100 egt's are good but I bet you have a tame tune. The guys running 250/100 250/80 238/100 on 366 and making more than 520 rwhp are seeing high egt's

Yes- 500hp tune with the s366 will damn near put the needle off the number on the egt gauge without water. the CFM just isnt there.
