Any plans to intercool it? I would think help with egts and total power output, but I also know that it's difficult and heavy.

I know a buddy of mine has a 565c.i. chev with an F3 super charger and no intercooling- he had 300* intake air temps, That was my reference.

Yes water to air would drop egts but it also weighs a lot. Water will cool egts just fine. We cut more than half the water when we changed to single so we have a lot to play with.

Track day last Saturday with the car. Ran it out to the 1000' before I chopped it off. Was going for a full pass but something didnt sound right. Ran our best time yet. 8.3s in the 1/4 lifting is getting there.

Still have yet to have lock up in the thing. We are having some chemical reaction that is delaminating the clutches in the convertor. We are changing fluids once again to try and remedy it. At cost on 12'' custom kevlar clutches is still very high

Since we dont have lock up we only drop 200-400 rpm on a shift so we shift at 5200 and only drop to 4800-5000rpm so we have not even made a pull where we pull threw peak power. Pretty frustrating but shows potential! Peak power should be in the 4400 range with peak torque even lower.

Turbo is an animal. 98psi of boost 105psi of back pressure and 102k rpm shaft speed. Crazy boost numbers out of a single.

Convertor is currently getting changed up. trying to loosen it up to speed up spooling on the line by chaning the pump as we have maxed out stator changes. Getting a fluid that we know works in other applications with the same convertor and hopefully we get lock up to work! Lock up should be good for .2 or more in the 1/8th.

Oh and we have the pump turned down to only 600cc lol

Over all we are making progress!

This thing is a monster and it's not even dialed in fully yet nor is it turned up all the way. Awesome stuff.
