new guy with a dead 6.0

hey guys, I've been reading a few of the threads on this site and figured it was time to be a member. currently have an early 04 6.0 in need of a full build. hoping for 4 digit hp street/track truck when its all said and done.

Sounds like fun but serious cash. Tranny and torque converter to hold that power alone will be $7K+. Also the block, pistons, heads, rods, turbo, machine shop and tuning I would not be surprised if you could go through $20K in a week. But if its paid for IMO why not. It would be a blast to drive around. With 1K HP you will probably have close to 1600+ torque. I would have alternate transportation because you might / will be chasing bugs regulary its like its never finished.
