I had 225s in my 04 with a powermax and it didn't come close to clearing them. I could black out a 4 lane with it LOL

I am however picking up a truck this weekend that has 225s with 100% tips on them and a single 64mm non vgt so I will let you know how it does :D

Maybe Nate could also put some info in about how it does since it's still his baby haha

My 66 cleans up the 225s real well, it runs hot though and is real smokey until it lights

Im actually kinda in the shadows of following him and matt M. After talking with you about your setup and other people i was pretty set on 225 but now that i see that twins arent required im not really feeling them anymore.

It all depends on the power level you are looking for. You also have to look at the supporting mods it would take to run large injectors. I wouldn't expect a motor with stock internals to last long with injectors bigger than 225s.

What power level do you want Smut?

My next guess is 275s i dont like the procharger idea though. We will have to keep in touch
All us wanna be badasses trying to make 8k pound truck go fast. :doh:

didnt say you had to like the procharger idea, just giving you an idea of what the specs are of a truck shooting for 11s. That set up with 225s did a 13.5@55 pass on fuel obviously letting out early. Shifting wasnt dialed in yet. That was on its way to 12 easy on fuel with 225s. Im spraying it with 1 maybe 2 stages and now have 275s

Matt u never know I might do a compound setup its all up in the air I'm very indecisive might have to flip a coin haha
