Default Car gauge or torque app?

Looking for info on these, I tried searching on here and google. Main thing I want to do is read codes, from what I've read car gauge is good or better for that. Can't find any of the threads where these were discussed or even in the App Store, just want to know which you guys think is better for DTC reading and which adapter is recommended. Be mainly used on a 2002 7.3 and maybe on a 04& 06 6.0. Thanks

I use Car Gauge Pro for DTCs and Buzz & CCT tests. I use Torque Pro for real time display and datalogging.

Torque Pro is only on Android. Not sure if Forscan is available for iOS or not. If it is, it is as close to IDS as you can get, for free.

That would explain why I can't find that one, maybe they pulled carguage off as well.

Torque Pro and Forscan for mobile Android (mostly use Forscan)

Forscan and AE for PC.

Forscan is available for iOS but you will need a wifi OBDII adapter since apple locks down Bluetooth for only apple certified devices..

Yeah seems apple pretty well blows for this. Looks like I may have to hijack the kids tablet for a bit

What alot of guys were doing... using old non active phones. Like a samsung note, galaxy3 and up or a cheap tablet. My daughter has a samsung tab4 7" tablet that works well with the torque program. With the android market it is similar to itunes in that you buy the 5 buck program and can load it on any android device linked to your acct.
