AC Help

Okay my AC quit blowing this morning, seriously sucked on the way to work. On max AC it will not do anything, on normal AC it will blow out cold air only when I'm driving.

None of the other settings do anything either defrost..heat..etc.

Does this just sound like the blower? Is there a fuse I need to check?

Sounds like the vacuum pump possibly goin out to me.

Is there a way to check the vaccum pump? Is that something I can replace myself? What about the blower motor?

Yes you can do vpump yourself, usually can get by with just cleanin it out, not sure that's the problem here, it is what switches wher the air is blown from like from defrost to vent etc. You sat the fan works on norm ac?

I'm betting it's got a bad motor..

If it's got power on both sides and still doen't work, the motor is bad.

If you don't have power out to it, you have a blower relay bad or fuse blown

If you unplug the wires from the motor, you should have a hot and a ground.. if you have a hot and a nothing, that points to either the resistor and/or, the high blow ground off the resistor.

The resistor and switch are on the ground side of the circuit.. just something to keep in mind while troubleshooting..
