I did a 4R swap so I have my Twisted 5R for sale. It was working great but I needed a different stall converter. The new converter went out, so the trans will have to be gone thru and cleaned. Asking $2500 OBO. It is a Stage 3 with the miraging input shaft (better than the standard billet but not aerrmet), billet od, planter, and ring gear hub, and billet intermediate shaft.

It will also come with the DPC Quad disc that went out in it. Everything is in a crate and ready to ship.

I also have the triple disc DPC converter that worked fine when removed. I just needed a higher stall. I believe it is an 1800 stall. I will throw that in for $500 also.


Also, there are two holes in the case which you can see in the first pic. When the triple disc converter was first installed the bolts weren't tightened enough and began looking for a way out. Never any issues with it though.

Where you located? What would it cost to have trans gone thru?

Slidell, LA but should be able to ship wherever. You would have to contact a trans shop to see what going thru and cleaning it would be. I would guess it would be about $800-$1000 or so though.

Yeah, I forgot about that 'til I looked at the pics. When the original triple disc converter was installed they didn't tighten the converter bolts enough. Hasn't been any kind of an issue though.

I need this for the 08 reg cab. Will it work in a 6.4? just a different TC bolt pattern, right? If so, I want it. I can pick it up in two weeks...

seems like there is something to the flexplate not being able to interchange and you will have a vibration. I could be wrong tho. Maybe he could get it set up with a 6.4 converter?

The converter pictured will work for his 6.4 since it is tapped for both bolt patterns. I ended up buying Colt Parkers stage 5 elite trans from his 6.0 and have been running it with my 6.4 for 2 years now.
