For seasoning the grill i watched blackstones video. Went thru that process 3 times. After im done cooking each time i scrape all the excess oil and crud off. Wipe it down with a paper towl. Then re season it with oil after cooking again wipe it with a paper towl let it cool down then toss on the cover. Pretty easy to maintain. About the only thing that ive found hard to cook is hotdogs sausage and corn on the cobb. Ive sauted mushrooms, fried okra, cooke tater tots... damn versitile grill. Still on my forst bottle of propane. The other thing is i can cook about 3x faster with it then a propane grill
