Jbl-gto1001ez? That should be 1000 watts at 2 ohm. Does 2-2 ohm speakers make it 4 ohm? I'm struggling with ohms law right now.

The easiest cheat ever is Rockford Fosgate's Woofer Wiring Wizard. Google it...makes life simple. I still use it myself.

2 ohm to 2 ohm in parallel should be 1 ohm, if memory serves.

Try the kicker crt those are shallow mounts dual voice coils, ive got those in my f250 they are loud

dvc 2 ohm is .5 ohm
dvc 4 ohm is 1 ohm

in series
dvc 2 ohm is 8 ohm
dvc 4 ohm is 16 ohm

I don't know where you got this information, but it appears incorrect, unless you are meaning for 2 dual voice coil woofers (4 voice coils total), your information would be correct for 4 total voice coils (either 4 single voice coil woofers or 2 dual voice coil woofers).

In parallel
2 x 2ohm voice coils = 1ohm. 4 x 2ohm voice coils = .5ohm
2 x 4ohm voice coils = 2ohm. 4 x 4ohm voice coils = 1ohm

In series
2 x 2ohm voice coils = 4ohm. 4 x 2ohm voice coils = 8ohm
2 x 4ohm voice coils = 8ohm. 4 x 4ohm voice coils = 16ohm

What size did you go with? I see an 8" and a 12".

12's and mine are 1 ohm each but u need an amp thats capable of handaling 1 ohm

I have a 2012 f250. Having a hard time deciding between throwing two 10" jl audio or just one 13.5 jl audio behind the seat. Supercrewsound offers both boxes. What do you guys suggest?
