2 long high pressure fuel lines

8 smaller fuel lines for injectors

8 injector washers

8 injector o rings

Hpfp cover gasket -needed?

Intake manifold gaskets - needed?

Valve cover gaskets - needed?

OEM head gaskets

Arp studs

Exhaust manifold gaskets -needed?

Exhaust manifold bolts -needed?

Bolts for up pipes - needed?

Cab bolts - needed?

Anything else I am missing?

I know I need to inspect rockers and get the heads decked and fluxed. Might possibly upgrade valve terrain possibly.

Of course filters, motor oil, coolant, and get the ac refilled.

Do I need to get powersteering and trans fluid or will loss be minimal?

Any special tools I need? I know I need a took to disconnect trans lines.

Thanks for any info. Just wanting to have all my parts at the house so when I'm ready to pull cab I don't have to sit and wait on parts to arrive.

injector jumper lines, copper, and o ring will come in a kit, individually
i would replace all the gaskets you mentioned including HPFP cover
dont worry about replacing the cab bolts
i would replace the manifold bolts and all bolts associated with the up pipes and mounting to the turbo

you dont need to the disconnect tool on the trans lines. just disconnect them right at the cooler and radiator. two clamps and theyre off.

you'll want to get some power steering fluid for sure, unless you want to resuse the old fluid. you will lose very little out of the trans lines.

Yup, easy to do while its apart and cast for lifters / rockers isn't too bad.
Consider pushrods too, and for certain if your doing heavier valve springs.

Have been giving the upgrades a thought.

Trying to keep this pretty budget friendly, with out worrying 100k later that x part might be on its last leg.

That being said, a full rebuild on the motor including piston, cam, water pump, oil pump, etc would be great. Not gunna happen though.

if you want to do crank bearings, you will have to pull the flywheel and rear seal. its a bedplate and has no main caps so to speak.

Thanks. I may just see how the rod bearings look. If they look fine I will probably replace them and just leave the crank alone.
