I need some help.
Just bought an 08. Truck has been straight piped with no DPF. Dealer told me truck had tune from previous owner but had no info on it. Truck runs very good and smokes alot under throttle.
Will i run into any issues when buying a new tuner and trying to overwrite current tune?
Just for ****s and gigs played around with swith on vgt actuator(i know, dont bash me, just curious) and when i cut power to the actuator the truck runs like bone stock and doesnt smoke a bit obviously just louder and better sounding, check engine light comes on shortly after. When i turn power back on to vgt actuator its like it stays in limp mode or factory tune.. performance tune will only be back in it after I shut truck off and restart.
Any help with my tune issue is greatly appreciated.
