FYI Some 2017 trucks did not get these rods. Most did but some did not. Star Off road found out the hard way with their F450 and so have a few others

Anyway of finding out if you have them? Other than the hard way.[/QUOTE]Job 1 = small
Job 2 = big

Quick google search info here, so I may be wrong. Don’t hold this as gospel truth. Job 1 has single rear usb outlet. Job 2 has dual. Obviously crew cab info.

Jared posted the VIN info on Facebook the other day. Maybe he will look at post and provide it here. My truck was made late Feb 2017 and has the upgraded rods so it’s party time soon!

Yeah. Give your VIN# to a ford parts guy or service guy who knows what he's doing like my buddy does for me.

I see Midwest diesel has a new mp series turbos to replace the factory valley turbo what size do you think would pair nicely with the Midwest compound kit?

Shows up as HC3Z-6200-A which is the updated connecting rod part number. In 2018 the "A" nomenclature changed to "B" but it all stayed the same as far as the rod itself.

My truck shows that same part number for rods. You're G2G

Before I get reamed, Yes I know this thread is old and has pretty much died off but since Mike doesn't get on here much anymore....I heard from him the other day that this truck now has a precision 8285 on it now in place of the old 7685 Atmo Charger and it has 45% Exergy injectors along still with the Exergy 10mm CP4 pump. Still has a stock 2017 6.7 motor as well. Built 6R140

It has to be every bit of 800+ HP to the tires now.

He is saying so far so good. I'm keeping in touch with him to see how far the stock motor will go on this setup.
