Can you guys suggest a good gear ratio for out of town deliveries 70-75mph and some local heavy runs? If I'm going to buy a truck id like to get two birds stoned at the same time.

I have an E99 SRW 4x4......I gross 31K 4-5 times a week, 250 mile round trip every trip, over mtn passes, and have been doing it for over 100K (truck has 295K on it) with very very little troubles.... moral of the story, its all in how you drive it....

Is this something you plan on leasing on drivers with? What's your operating area? What type of equipment do you need to haul your loads? I mean..is it all long heavy items, partials, or will smaller trailers work?

I see a lot of hot shot guys who know how to keep the wagon loaded...partialing their way from a to b, and back. A flatbed on the truck would he a wise choice, if all you have are 1-3 pallets going for premium rate, there's no need to drag a 40' trailer behind you, when they can be loaded on the bed.

I have done the hotshot ordeal in canada. 100k in 8 months. I used a 24k tandem gooseneck. Pulled it with a 09 ccsrw, f350 shortbox. Deleted, 300hp tune, traction bars, 37x13.5x22 toyo m/t, 4" lift, air bags, quality shocks, stock tranny.
Heaviest load was 30k for 600 miles. Loaded from a few places and they lied about the weight of the cargo.

Truck never had one issue, held up great for being a 6.4. Seen -40*f to 105*f weather lol
