View attachment f250 oil sample blinded.pdf

This is my personal truck (fully deleted since shortly after birth).

Thought I would share the results for those interested.

The mileage represented is 100% accurate and was about 85% highway.

7,500 miles. Oil "LOOKED" very clean when it was dumped only for the sake of installing a new oil pan and fumoto valve.

For those viewing that dont really understand how to read an oil sample, feel free to ask questions, Ill answer them to the best of my ability. The far right column is a cummulative average of all the 6.7L powerstrokes Blackstone Labs have tested.

Enjoy.

Impressive, I need to send a sample off to them as well. I change my oil every time the dash warning pops up.

I'm interested in seeing others oil samples. It takes roughly 7 days from the time you put the sample in the mail to the result in your inbox

I'm sure the lack of fuel dilution from regens helped a ton there then.

For sure!

Are you adding a Moly additive with your oil ?

Jason, I don't even open the hood of the truck for 7500 miles. Lol

This is pre-emissions oil (pre07) cj-4. I've had this tote since 2009. However royal purple never reformulated till later to combat emissions issues in on-highway vehicles. (From what I was told)

I'm guessing your truck is not running hot at all then.

Your Moly count is 2x the average. Moly being the lubricant in petrolium products that does the heavy lifting at higher temps.
Report looks real good..I wonder what a similar non-deleted truck would look like.

Yeah I'm curious too. I've never cared to check a stock truck. There's a few abused 6.7L wear my dad works. I'm going to ask him to catch me a sample if he can.

I towed pretty heavy on those last 7500 miles. Regularly bumped 26k. BUT... I don't beat on my truck at all. Oil was 205-215 towing. 200-205 non towing

If anyone here has a stock truck that cares to catch a sample I would be interested in seeing it.

Here is a sample of two trucks.
My 2013 1st oil sample was in Nov. at 2231miles of factory oil.
The second time on the '13 was in Oct 5000 miles of amsoil 5W-40. Only 1k miles of that was deleted. At that point truck had 7200 miles when the oil was changed.

The rest was from my Deleted 2005 f250.

Thanks for posting that. Surprisingly not much in the way of fuel dilution on your second report on your 13.
