Well my dad hit a deer last week and put a new rad and fuel cooler on his 6.4
Blah blah it killd his front bumper.

I came up to Tulsa this weekend and did a egr delete in the driveway lol
It was a good time having my dad hand me wrenches and sockets.

Well I'd figure yal would like this free bumper mod

I'm trying to talk him into putting a rigid industries bar in the gap

I actually like how that looks, if they had a grill that filled the gap in it would be perfect...

Now you got me thinking i might have to do something on my reg cab... i do have a spare bumper now...

i wonder how hard it would be to take a 2011+ grill and make it mount to an 08 hood.... damn you really got me thinking now

He told me he was going to do it and I said don't waste your time
Well I seen it and I like it.

A 12 grill mounts like a 6l clips in the bottom and bolts at the top. To make it work would take some re engineering

What you guys think about plasti dipn his grill white?

I'll tell him to text me some of his tow hooks and a gap view.

It's only bolted at tow hooks no more side Brkts there not the same as the 6.4 brkts

That actually looks pretty decent, and I like the idea of the rigid light bar!

Also I think painting the grille white would look good. Previous owner of my old 6.4 did it and I think it looks good for a cheap mod, of course the fx4 grille is much better looking IMO but regular grille painted white was fine with me:

Get us some more pictures when you can of the fenders and other areas. I still think it looks good. Maybe cut a inch or two from the center to narrow it up a little
