So January i bought a 01 Hpop from flea bay and a oring, gasket and plug kit from www.dieselorings.com

Then February a fuel pump from Jake @ irate.

And had a rebuild kit for my turbo so did that and a epbv delete.

my take on the tightwad mod. And Im at 80 psi fuel so i m sure that pellet in there is a bit much.

and filters from fleetfilter.com

But from the whole 10 miles ive drove it WOW. I have way more mid range and boost is rock soild and shifts at 25 might be time to consider going back to the 1.15 and see what i pick up top end. But its a beast on the bottom and mid!

And i did however first attempted the jb weld of the extras on the fpr and the epbv. Needless to say i lost some fuel and oil. LOL now i welded em.

And I grinded my welds and kept sanding holes in so i welded up and left it not as pretty as i wanted but its good for my scattered brain ocd i guess.

Pics.

I had that air hose on my truck on the fuel system. Was told to remove not rated for fuel . Should use fuel hose.

That is diesel rated 3/8 synflex. At my work we plumb carrier refrigerator units with it. I can post the info from Eaton.com bit I have read that too.

If the manufacturer recommended using it I feel I'm OK. I'll post link from lap top in a few.

If you're using a 1.0 housing, its probably less than 2 mph in the quarter, and the bottom and mid range say bye-bye. Been there and done that.

.84 lol and top end levels off at 25psi so idk time for injectors..

An 0.84 is a low end only housing and a 1.0 would be a lot better for mid and top end and will hold its own against a 1.15 stock housing on the top end. The 1.0 is about 1/2 second faster 0-60 mph than the stocker and the 1.15 never makes up the difference on the top end. I use the 1.0 with stage II injectors with no problems, it will push 120 (3850 rpm governed speed/4.10s) anytime.

A rating for "use in a diesel environment" and "rated for diesel transfer" are two different things. I would make sure it is rated for use as a fuel line before you get too comfy with it. JMO!

I am comfortable with it as I previously stated I work for a semi trailer manufacturing company. We send thousands of Carrier refrigerated units on the road every year that are plumbed with this very same tubing. Hence the reason I used it.

Thanks for your concern but I'm not to worried.

I work on heavy trucks and trailers too and have seen plenty of units plumbed with that air brake tubing as well.

That looks cool to pricey for me.

The reason I ran the line I did is cause it was free and all the fittings.

I am invested a total of 200 ish for my efuel.

125.00 pump
72.00 fleet filter for bases and filters
50 in miscellaneous parts to orielly s

yeah it's expensive, but I figgered it's still cheaper than going all AN fittings, and stainless braided lines.... and a hellova lot easier to run - plumb....
or fix in the field....
