International IDM bottom kit/ ficm half shell

Called international about the IDM bottom kit for the FICM. (Part # 5010598R92)

The parts guy said I could get the part but was unable to get a picture of one.

I can get the part from Ford (4C3Z12B599BARM) but the price is half at International.

Anyone have any info about this? Has anyone ordered one?

I have requested a picture from International, I should get it tomorrow or Monday.

Weve used the Ford piece quite a few times here in the shop. What is the price on it from Ford that you are getting ?

Question. Does the reapir half have the circuit board and the half of the FICM cover it attaches to and you just bolt the other half of your case to it or ???. I'm trying to understand why these are so much less $$$ than the whole FICM. Pardon my ignorance, I've never had one apart.

$135.78 Takes 7-10 days or pay extra $40 for overnight shipping.

$200 savings is nice but is it the same internals?

Im surprised Im the only one looking into this.

7 pin can't do the half shell swap.

Oddly my original 7 pin lasted 8 years with no issues. The 58volt lasted 300miles then fried. The next reman from Ford lasted almost 2 years. The reman by me lasted 3 months.

I can swap a FICM in less the 10 minutes at a truck stop with a pair of vise grips.

This International IDM bottom is the same Ford half shell FICM.

$135.78 instead of $369-$400 from Ford.

I ordered mine yesterday and should have it Wednesday. Ill report back...

Most International dealers won't carry it in stock and it takes 7-10 days to get one. I payed $40 extra for 2-3 day shipping.

It runs again! This is the correct part.

Side not: You will need to keep the rubber gasket for the new half shell. It does come with new bolts to remount the shell.

Someone should make this a sticky!

I'm picking mine up tomorrow at noon at the Rechtien-International dealer just off of Blue Heron Blvd. along I-95 in Riviera Beach. My total for the part was $110 (the guy told me he was giving me some special sale pricing).
