My truck will be changing here soon with the addition of the RSK. I think the 235/85/16 tires are going to look too small with the truck taller. For what ever reason I have not done any wheel shopping in my life or any real changes from stock sized tires. I would kinda like to keep the stock wheels as mine are in really good shape and I like them but I have and open mind. I know I am not a fan of 18 size wheels or really huge tires.

I would love to get some suggestions from you guys that have trucks that are around that height for a tire size or tire wheel combination that looks the best. I scrolled through a hundred pages of the picture thread but that only help so much without having the right details. I expect I am not the only one that would enjoy a thread like this.

X2 Tom, I have wondered the same thing. Would like to do a RSK and SD springs on my 350 and was kind figuring the 235's would look to small and so would 265's though the wider tire might look better.

Though taller tire's would require a speedo recalibration and would help with cruising rpms with a 5 speed. Are you going with the 2.25" RSK or whatever the lowest one is from PMF? Interested in pics when you get it done.

I guess I should include some photos of the truck. This is how she stands currently.

2.5 is what size kit he is making me. I think 265 tires are the same approximate diameter. As far as gearing goes I would not mind a taller tire with my 4.10 gears but I am not sure on the impact with the shift points which I currently like a lot.

Here's my 97' F350 with 305-70-16 E 10ply bridge stone duellers on stock alcola rims...they fit fine and I have a cord of black oak in the bed...no rubbing and ride's great....:D

315/75/16 with a front end look that should be quite comparable
just put them on mine.

I'd do a 285 or 305. I ran 285s on my '96 with the springs starting to arch down and they filled the wheel well up. I had the 4.10s and a stock trans and it did fine.

I would think some 285's would suit your truck just fine Tom, especially if you're keeping the stock wheels.

Definately one of the top considerations. Lots of negatives on so many aftermarket wheels. I am still looking though.

This in mine with 3" Sky RSK, V code fronts, B Code rears with F350 blocks on 285/75/16 Michelins on stock wheels.
