I searched and didn't see a thread like this so if there is another one let me know.

Figured I would share a few pics of my farm, and I know there are other farmers on here, so post of pictures of your farm/ farms that you work on. Pictures working, stuck, broken etc etc

Just a few from this spring
Case IH 9350 with a 30' Krause Excellerator(vt tool) Just got done working some ground this spring

Only 60 Acres of wheat and we twisted the feeder house drive shaft 100yrds into the first field, this was a fun one.

Planting Double Crop soy beans Kinze 3650 16/31 Case IH335

My truck hooked to the seed tender with the 9350 in the back ground. Gotta love the KR farm truck

How about some vintage equipment?

Sadly I don't think I have any pics of any of the modern equipment doing anything..... probably not going to get any now that I have rented out everything and am looking to sell all the big hay equipment. Too bad too - running that windrower was one of the most relaxing things I think I ever got to do.

We had that happen a few years ago. We even tried combing one field at a 90* angle it was so bad. Ill have to dig up some pictures of that. We tired a corn reel that didn't hardly help at all, we could finially get something done after we put those screws/augers on the outer snouts like you have there

Just a few more

Whoops, this is from last spring. I was trying to open up a wet spot so it would dry out faster. It didn't work out so well.

Our freight shakers.

My grandpa plowing his garden on a ferguson TO-20 and a two bottom plow. This is what he used to farm with. Big difference now.

Me playing around - had to rotary hoe some beans a few years ago. This wasn't even popping the clutch, It was slowly taking off in 4th gear and it would carry like that for about 30ft. Had to use the brakes to steer going down the road.

Thanks guys, we have 2 1650's yet. They pretty much just run augers now. I would really like another one to turn into a "pulling" tractor, nothing over the top like the big guys run though.

My brother had an 1850 pulling tractor. He had it up around 200HP. The manure tank is an 8000 gallon, we run two like that. He couldn't compete with it either so it ran the manure pump until the motor died. Re had those mini augurs installed on the corn head last summer right after the storm

I have seen a few 1850's with a 12v cumminGs put in them. I think that would make a neat tractor and a cheap way to build HP.

Its probably one of the 830s that we use to own. Last fall we had an auction to pair down the tractor collection that was just too big for me to manage since Dad passed away in 2003 - so we sold 20 some tractors and most of the toys and pedals - I just have half a dozen poppers now.

Yes we haul to cahokia IL though, and we weren't hauling yesterday. The white one is an old Cox truck so there are a few running around that look similar to it. Ours has the painted front bumper and big polished fenders on it, plus all my grandpas tacky chrome lol

Last fall, bearing went out, at least it didn't happen going down the road

Grain Dryer right after it got delivered

Last fall with the dryer going at night, it sounds like a jet engine when you stand in front of it. Will dry 950 bushel an hr at 5 points.

Tired out a new gleaner S77 last fall

We have a new dealer in the area so they brought us this out to try as well. It was a beast and it was one of there smaller combines. 7mph though 170bu corn didn't even flinch this thing. I would never want to work on it though, belts and pulleys everywhere

Gotcha, there were a few landolls out here that were having regular wheel bearing failures. I think it ended up being bad hubs. Tolerances were out of spec

Purchased a new landoll weather proffer III last year. Broke the main axle twice. Needless to say it's not here this year, traded on a DMI.

Nice piece. The only tractor I regret selling in the sale was the 830I with the pony start..... that thing was cherry in original work clothes.... oh well - I know I'll get just as much attention riding around at shows and going to plow days once I restore the 630 LP Standard with all the trimming all around.

Thanks guys. I wish I could say I did the work myself but I had a guy restore it. He does absolutely beautiful paint work and I was very happy with it when I got it back. This picture is from when I dropped it off at his shop. Unfortunately the tractor had to go when I bought my house. Its currently a part of a collection in MO somewhere.

A couple from the tornado producing storm the other day:

A cool non-cropped, original-sized photo. A hair blurred and a bit of noise reduction, but the full size/original is pretty decent for a 50mm focal length:

Another storm rolls yesterday. 3rd Severe storm in a week, 2nd Tornado warning issued for us this week. As soon as it touches 29*C (85*F) here, a storm brews somewhere, like clockwork. Not only that, but we get the heat, then the storm, which brings moisture. Then the next hot day the heat + moisture = another storm. It's a vicious cycle.

Anyway, no tornado, but we did get pea to larger than golf ball sized hail. Got my truck into the shop seconds before the hail dropped. Ruined the crop within a few miles unfortunately.

No pics of the farm, but here are 2 pics I have of one of our equipment/hay barns. This was back during the winter. Dad and I went by to crank the tractors and Bobcat for a bit. If you look hard enough, you can see my little brother acting like a goof ball on top of the hay.

Yes - I kept a few pieces - including a few very rare pieces that many collectors would drool over no matter what condition....

I honestly don't know. I assumed you could have always gotten either one. But it could be a new deal, it's a 2012.

Around 24" but that is because we have tile drains and any deeper and you MAY hit one if you're unlucky. The tractor can definitely handle more but they bought that machine 30 years ago when the biggest tractor they owned was a White 2-180

Love the pic of the fleet of combines going down the road, you guys must go though some serious acres up there

I'm very jealous of the quad track I want one bad.

What is the floater spreader for? looks like something you would use in a rice field

Very nice. We have a TO30 that we use all the time around the farm yet for unload augers and it works great to move equipment around and push wagons in the shed.

Ya this one ran great. It is mainly used to mow fields with a brush hog. It mechanically was very solid. All we did to the heart or it was have the head rebuilt and a total reseal. Then it was completely stripped to bare metal.

We have 14 combines total. 4 460 lexions, 2 2388 ih 2 t670 jd 6 8820 jd

The quad trac is great tons of power, we have an older one as well both are great tractors!
The swamp buggys are home built we have really soft and wet fields in the winter and these are about the only things that make it with out getting stuck

We farm 6000 acres which doesn't spun like much but we have a small window to get it done and our ground really sucks

Haha we only ran 8 this year takes 2 months to get 6000 in... We are a whole different game here in Oregon our soil is different and our summer doesn't last long and we only get to start at 1pm and and have to shut down at 830pm cuz we fight so much moisture! We run to what we call bankouts and 10 semis pulling 40/20s. Grass seed is what we do so we need the bulk space

We use it in wheat and soybeans and it handles those two crops very well. We had some problems with leaking hydraulics but I think we've got them worked out now.

Things like this make me wish i farmed. Im from Moline, home of john deere, im pretty partial to green. My grandpa retired building green combines, my sis is an engineer for deere and have some uncles that work for em too.

Keep the good pics comin' and keep workin hard to keep the food comin in!

A couple people have demoed them around me and they say it doesn't feed to well. But I don't know. How well does the wheels work for the cart? Cause at combine school for new holland we had trouble with them. But that one was also a prototype

Our draper feeds sorghum alot better than the old auger type would more so when the stalks have more moisture. Feeds real even into the feederhouse.

it does alright we wanted it to run a gear higher at the local tractor pull which it does now ...runs about 9-10 psi boost .it has a very unique sound.the extra crankcase pressure makes it hard to keep from leaking oil everywhere

the 820 also had work done to the fuel system it did around 100 HP on a pto dyno before the turbo..after the turbo its stronger we just never got it back to the dyno to see how much stronger

I love that turbo 820 - I really regret selling the 830I that I had.... I've been bidding on 830 tractors that I find in the shape that I want pretty regularly ever since...... just no dice - they keep going for more than I think they are worth.... and it makes me think that I didn't get enough. lol

I happen to know that they also do very well on the bottle..... I won't name names or regions, but there is one running around an antique pull circuit that is stripped down to nothing with a bottle hiding in the factory air cleaner.....

We had a 35ft test head last fall. It worked okay in dry stem soybeans, but in green stem soybeans it would plug and not feed. Never any better than an auger head and most of the times it was way worse. Spent 5 hours and only cut 3 acres of beans. I have a several photos and videos of it.

Center drive is pretty nice and smooth tho...

Jumpy, could you send me the pictures and videos of the head please. We are thinking about getting a red machine and planning on getting a draper with it.

/\ not a lot of crews out there that run NH mostly green and red ....I did a google search on custom harvest crews started calling and asking for apps .....If you dont mind running green South Fork Harvesters is a great crew to work with........if you don't have a CDL get it class A with doubles and triples endorsements for most crews .....and dont expect to get rich

Here is a good deal for an electric start 730 diesel Standard for all you guys wanting an 830.... sure its a little smaller - but its much more manageable and still just as fun to play with! http://www.ebay.com/itm/John-Deere-7...item35c01c4680

I really miss my 830 tractors this time of year...... I need to find a plow an break out the 730 LP Standard and let her sing.

I'll look them up. But red/blue practically the same thing, go down the same assembly line. But I don't mind running green anyways. But yeah, I don't plan to get rich, just something I've always wanted to do
