Painted Tails ?

Post up what you got/pics and how you did it. I want to do a light coat where the red is still in it.

LOL sub'd. i know ole mink does quite a few sets. and mike c painted his blue....

you should paint yours white!! LOL

This is the best pic i have of mine, I put a few coats of nightshade and a few coats of clear coat. Not the best way to do it but it works. lol

Mine are tinted, but it's with a mix of black paint from my truck

Left The reverse lenses clear.

I have some nice sets and then maybe acouple alittle rougher sets running around out thereLOL but yes I enjoy doing lights.:thumbup:

Who is this Mink?

Mine are the center ones in his first post above, below show them on with just the parking lights on. They are very dark, but the light shows well. He does a great job.

Sand with 40grit LOL jk
Did a set on my old S10 back in the day, just washed with dish soap and let dry

I do not reccomend either although if you just use the tint in a can junk this is the route to go down as the tint doesnt like to fill light scuff marks like clear coat will.

It really depends on your methods.
