flatbed build

The start of my flatbed i used 2x4x.250" and 2x4x.125" and the rear tube is a 2x6x.125" it will get all LED lights and a gooseneck hitch that otherwise would not have worked with my lifted truck, also a 40gal aux tank.

I will be building one this winter hopefully....I need to get some 05+ dually axles, a set of alcoa dually wheels and tires and build a dually bed.

man if you didn't live about as far as possible from me, i would. there are plans to build a 8' dually bed next for a buddy.

some more and some lights my dad found for me through his work, made by primatronics i believe, 1600 lumen work lights. ive got two of them coming, and if i like them ill get a few more

The bed looks really close to the back of the cab.

It's really to bad that your on the complete opposite side on the country from me, because I would have you throw one together for my truck. Looks good, can't wait to see it when you get it finished!

How about this, y'all can meet at my place since I'm in the middle, you and I can both get flatbeds this way and neither of you two will have to go that far :thumbsup:

I really like the hidden hinges on the SK boxes I need to figure out how to do that. Since the truck is going to get air ridden I wont need the trough or the dovetail end of the bed. I want the bed to sit low enough to when the air is all out the tires will damn near be touching the underside of the bed.
