A while back, right after I got my truck, I decided the first thing I needed to do to my truck was an EGR delete. I got to looking at it and decided the kits were too expensive and that I could make my own.
Sorry, some of the pics aren't that great, but you'll get the idea. Anyway, I thought I would share some pics, so here ya go:

consider the time you had in it, fabbing everything up. you could have bought a delete off e bay cheaper. did you clean the soot/carbon out of the intake.

Consider I had an off day with nothing else to do. Didn't cost me a dime. LOL
Besides, I only had a few hours in it and all of the material was scrap.
I didn't clean out the intake, but I will be doing studs, injectors, and a turbo soon. I will probably do it then. I have even been thinking of modifying the intake anyway.

Why did you weld the bellowed portion of the pipe?
I was told when I was doing this that the bellows were known to crack and start leaking, so I eliminated that from this one since I had it off. I you look at the kits that come with a pipe, it is solid. So basically, I was to lazy to build a new pipe. LOL I will probably replace that piece while I've got the cab off doing studs.
