Well guys as the title says, I'm going to be getting a new radiator here in the near future. Mine has a leak and I refuse to put the oem JUNK back in it. So here's my dilemma. I was going to get the mishimoto radiator. It looks to be a very nice piece, well designed, and has a lifetime warranty. It seems to have a lot of R&D and I think if there was any kinks they have worked them out. But now I see that Alradco is going to be making one here in another couple months. Now I really don't know what to do. I'm torn between the two. So what are your thoughts. Thanks guys!

By the way another issue I have is I would like the radiator in a couple weeks, and I like to buy American. Now I know the Mishimoto unit was designed and had its R&D done here in the USA, but it isn't made here. Where as the Alradco is American made but hasn't had the R&D that the Mishimoto does. Sorry for the rambling but I'm just hung up on this one!

None of you guys are going to be the guinea pig. Test vehicles have already been selected and there will be plenty of testing done before any of the "pre-orders" are even built. Ford actually did a very nice job engineering this radiator, unfortunately the execution fell short. We don't need to reinvent the wheel here, just build a much better one. Thanks for considering us.

Well its a really tough decision for me to make. Both of the radiators will be nice units I have no doubt. I don't think I would ever "need" the warranty on one of these but it is a nice reassurance that IF anything were to happen it would be taken care of. I don't really want to wait a whole lot longer to get one but december really isn't that far away, so I could just keep an eye on it for another month. Thanks for making this hard on me Peter!

I have no truck that runs either but I bought a radiator from Peter at Alradco. Spend 5 minutes talking with him and you'll know where your money belongs.

I know mishimoto is a vender on here but it doesn't seem like they really are a member if you know what I mean while alradco has been on here constantly replying to posts...

Very true. I'm really starting to lean towards the alradco.

Brother, I'm sure either way yo go, you'll be better off then where you started. Have a good weekend. My wife is out of town so my boys and I get to spend some great quality time together.

Well a little update fellas. I talked to Peter today, and ordered a new radiator! Definately a great guy and it seems to be a company that is dedicated to making quality stuff. Now I can't wait to get this beast! I'll be sure to post pictures of it once it shows up. And a big thanks to Peter for the hook up!

I have the mishimoto rad and love it. Very well made piece and performs flawlessly!

It's America, vote with your dollars. Truthfully, you can't go wrong with either unit.

Very true. Its really nice to FINALLY have a choice other than the oem junk to replace a leaking radiator! But I do think both units are pretty sweet. Congrats on the new radiator by the way.

Completely agree with your statement on good solutions. It's really a matter of what you're after and what you want to spend. That's what makes this a competitive market!

Thanks for the kind words and good luck with your purchase!

It was good to talk to you Brandon. Thanks for your order. Troy placed his too. We'll keep in touch.
