Default SADP-6.4 Fuel Bowl ****** Kit

This is a Side Action exclusive product for all the guys wanting to ****** the fuel bowls on your 6.4 .

I would like to start off by saying this has taken me a long time to build and design these to be able to work the way I wanted them . This kit is a drop in replacement . No cutting or removing any thing other than unbolting the factory fuel bowl and replacing it with our kit . Most customers don't realize that with the traditional fuel bowl ******s, there is a lot of labor involved with brand x or brand y kit. Required labor includes removing turbos to remove the factory feed line and HPFP cover. From there you must thread the adapter fitting into the injection pump. This process can cause debris and other material to be at risk of contamination going into fuel supply. Also by design of our product will push all debris " if a pump fails " back to tank, our block will not allow it to go metal to flow up back into the supply.

Second benefit to our kit is saved time . The time to install brand x or brand y kit is hard for the average weekend guy with no lift or special tools to do such a task. This kit works with all simple hand tools along with a perfect fit to factory supply lines. We also offer our " dual fuel " option that can be fitted with special fittings to supply any brand dual fuel pump kit.

We are offereing these kits in black anodized or clear finish. These will be ready to ship in 2 weeks ! We are taking orders now as the next batch will be black anodized and will probably cost more. Added cost is in the process to machine them.

Please PM or email for pricing and orders with contact info to reserve yours today !

Also want to say a special thanks to Brian and Rob @ Fuelab for letting us use their product to compliment our kit !!

Nice Job! That is exactly what I was starting to work on for the 6.4L (using the upper half of the Fuelab regulator in a custom lower) a while back, before I dropped the project. Love to see some installed pictures, and what the rest of the kit looks like. May just be contacting you to handle the product!

******s the stock fuel bowl so there's no restriction of fuel going to the hpfp it's sorta like reliability mod. I'd recommend if ur not on stock fuel also cleans up the engine bay a little bit.

Here is a pic of our fuel bowl ****** kit installed.

This is with the added dual fuel option.
The block will come with everything you need for a single pump. The added option is extra fittings for return and supply to dual pump.

Price has not yet been set for this option.

Again this kit installs with basic hand tools in about 30-45 depending on skill level.

We will also have 6.4 & 6.7 Fuelab kits just like the fass/airdog kits to help relieve the motor issues that some people are having with those pumps. Coming soon....

The motors that Fuelab uses are a brushless design for longevity.

I do not have any data to prove that is runs cooler or hotter . Just know that it seems that a brushless motor last longer. pumps are super clean looking .

Look around for failures of air dogs and fass's and you will see why brushless is way to go.

AirDog and FASS motors don't need to be brushless, they are not "wet motor" pumps (at least they are not supposed to be...but one of them has had significant issues with pump shaft seal failure).

I don't think any of the 6.4 guys will have an issue running a pump like a FASS or ADII with this kit since pressure demand /output is no where near what it is on a 7.3/6.0/6.7 truck.

I'm in but need three questions answered:

1. Long as you set the proper setting for your product fuel pressure and the Fuel Lab fuel pressure setting so I don't screw this up.

2. We probably need to talk but wonder if I should go with their 100 or 200.
i have lots of mods but not crazy mods (yet).

3. I want to do this so that I may install a fuel bowl ******d intake manifold (dent removed) and I'm guessing this kit is perfect for this.

We can talk manana with anytime.

Hope It was you I talked to on the phone today, If not ____ here are some answers

1. Setting your fuel pressure is very easy when it comes time to doing so give me a call and I can walk you through it

2. If your going with single modded pump and nothing real crazy on the fuel side like 100% on your truck and dual fuel like our shop truck I would feel more than confident that with the 100 you will be just fine .

3 It all depends on how far back they cut the dent out . If the fuel bowl bosses are removed then our block will not work But to the best of my knowledge "most " manufactures are leaving them in .

Hope this helps . Thanks again

You should be able to space it out. Mine has the dent cut out and I used some 03 6.0 turbo spacers. Worked perfect on the stock fuel bowl so I'd think it should work with this kit too.

Same here. I no longer have a dent with factory fuel bowl. Just shimmed it some.

Sorry not me who called as I got really busy at work but glad to hear more and more people are contacting you about your work.

Your answers are perfect.
Was thinking of going with Elite Diesel full ported or the local vendor here doing his own intake manifold work.

Only real crazy thing I will do will be either 71 or 72 mm low end turbo and no dual fuelers so the 100 is perfect for me.

Cool I'm in, still will try to call you.

Hopefully you have enough buyers on this forum for the first time group purchase for a good discount.

No rush here as I just had all filters replaced and I only put about 7500 miles on her per year.

Thanks...

Well i just realized that this is about the fuel bowl ****** we offer. sorry

Those are in stock ready to ship. They will work with any fuel system out there but prefer to use them with fuelab lift pump systems for clean compact long lasting product with less current draw then other pumps .

The bowl does replace the factory fuel bowl and the fuelab pumps use a 4 micron filter if I am not mistaken .

Hope this helps . Thank you

So there was a problem that was brought to my attention today about not having the gauge in the kit ....

I felt that since we mostly sell our products to dealers and in house customers that they are setting the block up with there own gauge depending on what lift pump option they have ..... with this being said I decided to NOT supply gauge in the pump because anyone that was doing so was throwing gauge away because of a electric gauge being installed instead.

So sorry for the confusion to anyone ordering these kits as the description and picture is correct on the website before placing the order i ask you guys to please read . Thank you guys

Yup that was me. I called you because I just spent 780 bucks on what I thought was a complete kit. I went by the forum post and expected a fuel pressure gauge. Yeah it wasn't written on the website so you don't owe me anything but it's kinda difficult to set the pressure regulator without a gauge. (And also there's stuff on your website that has no description whatsoever.) Now I gotta go online and spend another 30 bucks on something I thought was gonna be there. I already spent 780 on it. Had I known I'd spend $810 on a single pump I'd gone a different route. I'm still considering sending it back not that I really have time. BTW what's the size plug that goes on the bottom? That's missing as well. Normally I wouldn't care so much but per our conversation and how you were making it sound so petty was not an attitude I cared for. It's a huge turn off to the Powerstroke aftermarket. If I can't get a complete fuel bowl ****** kit. Don't know how I'm gonna get a complete turbo kit.

I am sorry you feel that way. I have a specific check list that I have before we send the blocks out . If my person in charge of shipping forgot to put a plug in it then I want it taken care of. But the way you explained to me was you had a lot of holes missing in the box. and there should only be 3 holes in the block depending if you ordered it with dual fuel option or not ... so like I had asked over the phone to email me pictures of what plug is missing @ sideactiondiesel@yahoo.com and we will get them shipped out to you.

As for anyone else that has questions ...Read before ordering..... Sorry As like the other kits we do not send gauge with the block it can be an option in the future. We used to send them with gauges but with so many ppl wanting an electric gauge to the back of the pump or their own gauge or what ever they want to add to the block I didn't feel the need to supply gauges with the blocks hence our description on website order page for final details . Thank you
