Brake Pedal Drops To The Floor?

The lariat has braking problems now today I was driving and the brake pedal drops to the floor and slowly comes back up. Anybody know what's up? Also its a job 3 for the brakes does it have hydroboost or vacuum? Thanks in advance.

It looks like its leaking from the brake booster or master cylinder?. Vacuum brakes? Job 3 2008 F-250 6.4 CCSB Lariat 4X4 253,000 miles.
As I said in the OP brakes drop to the floor and come back up slowly.
Does anybody know what the cost of labor is at ford to change this part or part(S) and flush?

Is there any associated gaskets that could cause it to leak? could it just be a gasket? or is it toast? Its leaking from there and down the fire wall ) its bolted to the fire wall)

You have hydroboost. It looks more like the master cylinder is leaking. Check to see what fluid is low, brake fluid or power steering fluid, that will tell you what is leaking. If the booster is leaking it would be red because it works off the power steering pump.

I got a '03 6.oh sitting in my yard fir a parts truck. Would the master cylinder for that truck work on the 08? Truck is a 2003 F-350 6.0 with the 5R XLT ECSB 4X4.

The 2008 is a F-250 CCSB 6.4 lariat 4x4 with the 5R.

So will it fit?
