Nice build! Was going to ask why you stayed so big on the primary til I saw it was a vgt. Who built that 66 vgt?

All that money spent and the hood is held up with vise grips

Fab work looks great though!

Should run clean and hopefully the smallish injector keeps the rods in their home.

I made a new rule to clamp all the hood shocks with vice grips after last week. I had a 6.0 with 37s on it at the shop, I was going to step up in the passenger tire so I grabbed the fender with both hands while holding my cell phone between my shoulder and ear. Then the pain hit, the hood fell and latched on all 8 of my fingers, all I could do was move my thumbs...lol. I told the ford parts guy on the phone I had to go, dropped the phone and started yelling for the guys to come pop the hood, thank God they heard me. My fingers were blue when the got me loose. I started thinking had I been there alone like I am late in the evenings it would have been really bad, so from now on I clamp the vise grips on.
Sorry for the derail, nice build!

Very nice setup. Subbed. I couldn't imagine having my fingers clamped by a hood

i have kind of a random question...how you determine the size of air filter to use esp without a restriction indicator?

I'm sorry but since you're okay I'm gonna laugh. I would die if I walked out and one of my buds was stuck like that.

Glad it didn't hurt ya too bad.

As far as the indicator goes .... well we have a twin turbo 7.3 with a s488 in it and seems just fine to me.
In my eyes its all about rpm in which the kit was designed to be in. hell faster ya spin the more air it moves until the wheel becomes inefficient is the way i look at it. If the customer puts the truck on dyno i will be sure to test this out. lol

yes we would sell this as a kit. But I will tell you this much it is not a easy install and a lot of lil things that really make it all come together to not have any issues. I would rather build these with the truck because this kit was built with the cab centered " how they should be " but some ppl dont believe in taking the time to center the cab and that makes me nervous to send kits out because it is very tight. I want when the kit is installed to have the same workmanship I put into these kits to be the same on the install.

And I only have pics of the exhaust side on our FB page.

makes perfect sense sir, thanks for explaining it. I didn't think about centering the cab up for doing compounds. Good advice.

None as of yet truck doesn't get drove in winter so it's parked in the owners shop until then . made 450@ rear wheels with converter unlocked .@hucksdorf. Mike needs to make some tuning adjustments to lock the converter and then we can start adding powa .
Other then that I really like driving this thing and I'm not a fan of lifted trucks at all but this thing is way fun to drive, even on 38 in tires lol
