Default 7.3 Coolant bottles

I've had numerous PM's about these bad boys....

Options include polished (with or w/out the welds) or anodized black.
PM me for special forum member pricing.

These are made in house and are ready to go.

Doesn't look like much volume is lost, but any reason it wasn't built with the same taper design?

It also looks like there's 2 smaller hose ports. What's the 2nd one for?

No OBS ...YET....sorry boys. It is coming by years end.

It is not tapered merely for the looks...fit and finish. Also to ensure the welds are perfect. Very little volumn is lost.

The second nipple on top is for the "puke tube"..merely run a hose off it straight down.
The bottle also has a spy glass built in so you can see your level.

On the second pic I posted it's in the cut out portion of the black piece.

PJ is digging around for a pic of the bottle mounted up and I will PM Tony (isootmypants) to see if he has a pic as well.

Another random thought.

How do these tanks maintain pressure? The cap just screws on right? I thought there was a reason our coolant tanks had spring caps on them

Sorry guys...been away a bit.

The cap itself does not (I am 99% sure but will double check with Jon) have a pressure relief spring in it. The tank has a hose barb just below the cap that acts like a pressure vent. It just blows off excess pressure. A hose attached straight down from the barb will keep the front of the motor clean as some coolant will, at times, leak. (not much). It's real nice if you run a non-pressure coolant, like Evans, there is no drilling the cap to vent excess pressure build up you get from time to time.
Again, I will double check this to verify.

Sorry for the delay.

Jason
