Egts

Just a easy question. What are your guys cruising egts say at 75 mph. Question is more towards the trucks that run a race file.
Mine is roughly 700 degrees plus or minus 30 degrees. Tyrant race file, just wondering if these are the temps others are seeing?
Getting on it hard ill go to 1400 or so. Fully eleted etc etc.
Whats makes me smh is- towed my utility trailer to the scrap yard and weighed in at 9k or so lbs and egts were just about the same lol...

Hence the question, just wondering if these egts are nornal for a 6.7.

At 75 mine are 640 empty. Towing the 5th wheel at 65 im at 800. At 70 900.

My egts are about the same. I cruise at 80 with egts between 650-750 unloaded. At WOT I'll hit the same EGTs at you. They'll actually go higher if you keep the throttle mashed longer..

28ft 5th wheel. 7700lbs empty. 72mph. 850egt. 2070rpm. 34% engine load. 5th gear 3.31 rear end. On 34x11.5 tires

What tires are you running? And what is the pin weight on that 5th wheel.

I like the tune alot. It will stay on the truck for sure. The trans shifting is really good. Power is stronger tha n gh which is a plus. Smokey though

The last part is what I was waiting for. It was a smokey pig for me with the tyran t race tune. Didn't care for it.
