What have you done to your powerstroke today?

Most likely cracked a piston.......... Got in it hard passing a car and bout the time I let out blue smoke coming out tail pipe and missing bad.... pulled over took oil cap off an nearly popped it out of my hand..... it's a sad sad day!

Picked up some factory 20" rims to replace the 18's. Now gotta decide if I want to do 35's or 295/60's. All part of the worlds slowest build.

if you shut it down quick enough, you can sometimes get away with a hone and a piston (check/measure/size the rods!!!!!!!)

it's not a cheap situation by any means, but it's part of that 6.4 life... it's like banging a crazy chick. You're always a little scared, but the fear adds to the fun!

Lol ya I hear ya, especially on the crazy chick part had my share of them! If I can get the funds together I'm gonna go ahead and do all pistons delipped and few other things while I'm there that might as well do while it's apart....

keep the board updated on what you run into, but yeah, if you can afford it, some internal upgrades are a good idea

Replaced my grommet lights with these.

I'm not too happy on the look, I think they are a but ricer. What if I tint them just a bit? I also have to get better hardware since they are crooked

New rear diff cover. OEM '08 painted with high temp black gloss, sanded fins and high temp clear coat.

Studs
6.0 mani's and up pipes
oil cooler
Rockers
Push rods
Intake elbow
De lipped pistons
Must likely go with new rod and main bearings
Coolant filtration kit

Would really like to do more performance wise but that's extremely out of budget....

New fuel filter, new coolant filter, and finished POR 15'ing the front of the frame and under the cab.

Thanks man! Bolted up with chrome bolts and washers. Going to spray the axle, shocks and calipers next chance I get. Got the idea from a 4 or 5 year old thread on another site. Thinking of writing one up, if only I knew how to post more than one pic at a time.
