When is it really time to upgrade the exhaust?

I did the 5" flo pro from Mike/No Limit. Took his advice of no muffler. I'll admit I was skeptical, but it turned out perfect. Really mellow until you roll hard in the throttle. Nice deep sound when you want it without been overly raspy.

If you don't want it to rust, your better off buying good 304.

409 will look worse than an aluminized system after one winter.

I have the not cheap magnaflow... But I acidentally ordered the 409 version instead of the higher grade one (which would have cost even more). It's rusted so terrible.. I just put it on this winter. I took it off and am having it powder coated.

I tell people all the time to either save their money and buy the aluminized or buy the high end 304 one. There is nothing more frustrating than wasting money on a 409 exhaust that has rust on it in one week...

And I only do exhaust on my own truck for looks. I can't stand the factory tip

Yours is a 15, correct?

I'll be using yours on another truck I'm sure, Rich. I floss that factory chrome on everything! :)

I'm running a 5" Flo-Pro without a muffler downpipe back and love it. I figured I would go with Aluminized this go around because I will end up selling/trading before the benefit of stainless would pay off lol. I ran a 409 system once and wouldn't make that mistake again. It rusted awful and wasn't worth the coin.

I will say that I went this route for looks and sound. I also wanted to remove the tailpipe on my '15 which has a sensor in it as well.

I don't know how to pass at anything less than WOT. Want to execute the pass safely and quickly, ya know? :)

But I don't like advertising what I've got. Well... I straight pipe the 6.0's because making cool noises is probably their best attribute.

the wastegated 6.7's sound like chebby gasser trash @ WOT to me :(
