Copied from the other forum...I liked the 02...it looked awesome to me. I really want to put a flatbed on the dually, I miss having one, and I crunched a bed rail the other night when I put the gooseneck into a ditch when I was turning out of a tight drive onto a narrow road...never had to worry about that with a flatbed.

Where did you pick those seat covers up at?

It says he has pressure treated lumber for the bed? The copper sulfate that they treat the lumber with will cause corrosion and rot that bed out quick. Oak and boiled linseed oil is the way to go with stainless fasteners.

LOL... I have had several trailers with PT Treated lumber... All are still doing fine. Not "rot that bed out quick"...

like Joe said..even up hear in the salt belt I have never seen one rust out any faster with PT lumber on them and PT body's are very common around here..my bed would get 1/8" Diamond plate for work..wood if she was a show queen...

I have seen that one. But Like I said, I won't have the $$$ until tax-return season, anyway. Plus, if I'm going to spend that much...I might as well splurge for a new take-off bed. ($500 more.)
just thought id throw it out there...there is a guy here selling 3 2011 beds with 100 miles on them for 2300 .. comes with gate, lights and wiring..I'm sure he could be talked down...

Man am I glad that I don't live in a salt state! Mine is about square. With my wheels and spacers I have basically a dually width bed. Its 2" wider each side than the tread of the tire.

Ive been looking for a swb flatbed as well. Need to price a new one since my truck is this color and adding a take off which is generally white would need paint and that would push it out of budget. Also if they run like stated earlier around 1500 bucks the one i found recently at 600 bucks might not be as good of a deal. Btw i saw this is an old thread but its relevant to me. The picture was recent from facebookuploadfromtaptalk1451872152959.jpg
