Regardless I've bought products from both elite and Jeremy. As far as return phone calls and being able to get a hold of someone I've had a positive experience with diesel dr. I cannot say the same for elite or getting a core charge in a timely fashion. Product wise both seem to be top notch and wouldn't hesitate to run either. Ill be able to have more feedback on the fuelers in a few months when I do my build.

I've had Jeremys kit for months now but never had a chance to install it. It is a nice kit and I like the idea of not running a extra belt. That guy has been very helpful to me, he will talk to you like your someone he has known for years. I called him last week just to ask a question he was helpful even though it was about something he doesn't even sell.

The elite guys have been good also, Wayne is getting some parts together for me monday. Its no secret they are hard to get on the phone but he has answered my pm's.

I can't see how you could go wrong with either kit.

RCD is a good choice too Jared is a great guy to deal with. He pays me to say good stuff about him...LOL J/K

Ok back on track. I lifted Jeremy's ban. May have jumped the gun...dont like being called biased and unfair. Again...I have never spent a dime with Elite.

I'll allow the discussion here of the pumps.

If we see any direct pimping by any non vendor in this thread its gonna be locked.

I also say support our vendors like River City Diesel and Elite.

Carry on.

one pro is with the elite kit you have a separate belt. if for any reason your secondary pump belt fails you would still be able to get home with your factory pump.

whereas the diesel dr. kit would require install of the new serpentine before driving.

So...now that the arguing is over. Can someone make an actual list of pro's/con's for each kit?

So far it sounds like:

Elite pros:
-There a sponser
-It was there idea first

Cons:
-more expensive
-Appearently you have to use a separate belt?

Dr. Diesel pros:
-cheaper
-utilizes the stock belt

Cons:
- not a sponser
- have to buy an alternator for the top bracket

THIS is what I'm looking for. If my truck came with dual alternators, would I still need to buy another one?

And honestly, I'd rather not need another belt to run it. Just seems simpler in my mind.

But maybe I should just ask for a list of "differences" between the kits instead of pro's/con's. That way nobody gets their feelings hurt?

No, but you will have a battery light come on when you un hook the main. But can be shut off by dealer and some tuners do it as well.

You could RCD dual fueler, but only Josh or Spartan can tune it so far.
