But I was told the pistons were cast from angel tears and can handle 700 psi and 10000hp..... I tend not to belive what they say ever. The only thing I do believe is that they have low miles. If I had to guess, they have very low, VERY hard miles. -

Wreckless? totally. I have a set of new rods sitting in a box ready to go, but I also have 2 non running, complete motors coming, plus the motor that's currently sitting in the bay. These rods were less than $200 shipped to my door and will give me something to play around with and make mistakes... -

OK will do. I'm sending to them to the machine shop to make sure the rods are straight and the journals are good and sized right. I'll have them check over the pistons as well and clean everything up. From what the guy was saying is they were purchased new and have less than 10k and it lost low... -

So I found a killer deal for a set of rods and pistons on ebay and couldn't pass them up. They came in today and look mint, less a couple of nicks on the skirts of the pistons. The rods are absolutely mint. Now I noticed the pistons have what appears to be injector spray pattern carbon buildup... -

What is that spike in PW to ~5.9ms? I've never seen my PW go that high for any reason ever. -

My ICP hangs around 475 at idle and builds to 3000 WOT at 2500+ stock tune. It drops to ~2400PSI with my 150 tune with a PW of ~2.8ms with a slight jump to 3.4ms at a little under 2k and drops back to ~2.8ms. I get a small puff of smoke when the PW opens up and then it clears right up. I get a... -

Yessir. The only thing I notice compared to the 7.3 turbo is it's standard rotation, the turbine housing is much smaller, and the compressor housing is ported. Other than that, it specs out the same as far as I can see.- Blown262

DT466E. It may have come on T444E but it's a standard rotation and the local dealer said it's for a late 90s 466.- Blown262

Update. The turbo is not a GT47xx Garrett specifies this as a GTA3782B. I'm waiting on a follow up email from them to figure out the specs, but from what I've read, it is a 59.1mm inducer with a 88mm exducer 52 trim .54A/R with a 72.5mm turbine 1.12A/R.
