Whats the deal with the ez link? Why do you like it so much? I noticed your post that you put in the classifieds. I just installed a 64.5mm MPD budget turbo on my 13 and am not very happy with the towing performance of it and I'm not even towing that heavy of a load. I have tyrant tunes loaded...

$650??!!! That seems crazy high for tunes. I think I paid $350 for tyrant tunes for my SCT X4 and SOTF.

If I run the truck on tune 1 it doesn't smoke. Its when I run it in tune 3-5 that it smokes. I can live with the smoke in the hopped up tunes but I really want to get rid of the lag. I'm hoping the piping kit helps a little.

I'm not sure to be honest. There isn't any info on MPD's website on the size of the turbine and exhaust housing.

I'm running a straight pipe 5" exhaust and am putting a no limit piping kit on Thursday. Hopefully that helps a little with lag.

Local diesel shop owner suggested it. I think I would have been happier daily driving the 63 but I wouldn't have been as happy with the total power of the 63. I'm installing a piping kit next week. I'm really hoping that helps with the lag.

Good point. A lot of those liberals from california are coming to austin. I stay as far from there as possible and any time I have to take 35 I take the loop around it.

Texas isnt california. I'm born and raised here in Corpus Christi, TX and have had diesels that have been modded for the past 20 years with no issues whatsoever.
