Any news on the issue? I'd hate for it to go unresolved. Also it might benefit others to hear what the solution may have been.

No problem, I was kinda scratching my head as to what everyone was up in arms about but what you said was correct.

Yeah factory Ford flexplate. That to me was the only way to go since it is a stock truck and the factory platewas $175 and the billet ATS is nearly $800. Thanks

Ok, thanks for the input. Don't forget, it still isn't dead yet. I dropped it out today to realize I had only three bolts left holding the thing in, one of which is the bolt through the dipstick that I replaced 2 weeks ago, which was completely rattled out when I did that. The last two that...
Perfect, that's what I was looking for. I wanted OEM but didn't want to pay dealer prices, even with a commercial discount. Any thoughts on TC?

So my dad's 2003 7.3 has 509,000 miles on it and the original 4r100. Over the weekend, we diagnosed that we have a cracked flexplate causing a God awful racket at idle that goes away with a few rpm. For now we are going to just drop the tranny and replace the flex plate, since he is now driving...

My 2003 F250 decided to go AWOL for a few days after the front track bar bracket sheared off the axle and spring perch. From what I understand, the factory weld wasn't terrifically strong and so the crack started in the weld and then tore through the bracket. Does anyone have any suggestions for...
Just curious, why is that? I have one of my trucks that will need new ones within this year, so if there is a better product, I'd like to give it a try. What do you run?

If you need them today, go ahead with the Napas. If available, I like the Moog greasables. They usually last about 250k with being greased around every 15k
