I agree with the brad, when I went from 160s to my 250s I studded the heads put new springs with shims, then also changed out my valve springs and put new rockers in.

Yes I meant in stock form. I have gone down the road of modifying my 99 7.3l. And I want to avoid that with the new truck, the new trucks have enough power and all the stuff I need to tow safely with a warranty.

Hey guys, looking to buy a 2015 or 2016 f-350, I want to hear the real good and bad to consider my purchase. I want to keep the truck stock and under warranty. I would really appreciate everyone's input.

I have a regulated system from dieselsite and has a fuel cooler on the return, and never have experienced this issue. I would imangine it helps keep the fuel at a more constant temp.

what you are doing certainly isn't a bad thing, I personaly let mine come to rest at 380 deg. Autometer egt gage. and idle for a couple minutes.
