Door lock help!
Yeah I replaced both actuators in the rear a few years ago. A failed actuator wouldn't cause the whole threaded rod that the lock tab screws onto to pop loose though, would it?- TexasJ

Ok thank you. A broken plastic clip connecting to the control rod is my guess as well. Any idea what the part # is for those clips? Or what the proper term is so I can search for them?- TexasJ

Truck won't move in OD, 1, or 2, regardless of 2wd or 4wd. Only reverse works.
Damn...definitely not what I wanted to hear... but thank you for letting me know. Will the entire tranny need to be dropped? Or is it something where I can drop the pan and work on it laying under the truck?- TexasJ

Truck won't move in OD, 1, or 2, regardless of 2wd or 4wd. Only reverse works.
I've got a 96 F250, I think it's the E4od trans, but I'm not sure and don't know how to tell the difference. As the title says, it won't go anywhere in OD 1, or 2, it doesn't matter if it's in 2wd or 4wd. It will rev up, but it's like the transmission isn't engaging with the engine. Reverse...- TexasJ

Question on uneven tread wear
Ok, well I guess I'll be doing the ball joint that's bad, getting the tires reballanced and rotated, and getting a fresh alignment. I can't afford to do all 4 ball joints though, probably going to have to stick with replacing just the one that's got play. What's the reason for doing all 4 if 3...- TexasJ

Question on uneven tread wear
Unfortunately I'm in the middle of a move right now, sp I don't have access to my jack or jack stands. Question on uneven tread wear
I have 35" Nitto Trail grapplers on my rig. (96 7.3 F250 w/4" lift). The tread on the inside of the front passenger tire is wearing a little unevenly. One lug is high, one lug is low, the next is high, the next low, and so on. It appears to be just the inside portion of the tire that's like...- TexasJ

Ac weak at highway speeds
Ok, when they ice over like that, is that usually caused by being dirty and/or clogged? Or is it caused by something else?- TexasJ

The blower motor is working now though. I jiggled the wiring and it has been fine since. Also, what do you mean "if the evap is freezing it will blow air flow"? Did you mean block?- TexasJ

Update: I just went out to check if the ac compressor clutch was engaging as per Tiha's suggestion. Before I could even do that though, I realized that immediately upon starting the truck, that the fan wasn't blowing at all. The AC compressor clutch was turning initially, but then it stopped. Ok thanks for the input guys. I just realized I said I was wondering if the condensor was dirty or freezing up in my original post. I actually meant to say the evaporator. I've heard that the evaporator core fins can get dirty and clogged on these trucks, and that can affect the ac performance...- TexasJ
