    That's another reason. Forum's can be a mess sometime. Sorry if you felt like I was accusing you. It was ment more as a comment to get your attention. If it's doing it at idle in park I would rule out the TPS. I would unplug the chip from the ECM and see what happens. A bad connection...

    My 7.3 has no problems staring when it's 0 degrees with 5w40 oil. I have started it as low as -18f. Obviously this is with everything working properly.

    Does it do it with the cruise set? Could be the throttle position sensor or the crank position sensor.

    Did it do it before or after it was rebuilt. I read it as you got the transmission rebuilt and now it's doing that. If that's the case you better let them know. They messed something up.

    I will add this. There not cheap. The link is to there highest rated 2.5 shank hitch. They have lower rated ones as well. Two others to be exact.
