I got the main body painted, and glass back in it. I've temporarily put the textured black handles in it, but plan on doing ptm before it's done. Used 6.7 world
The job 1 '11's had random issues with exhaust valves cracking, and breaking off, destroying everything in their path. Not a ton of them do it, but I've seen enough to know I'd get at least a job 2 for peace of mind. -
Oil filter change interval with synthetic oil
My biggest fear on trucks with *** in tact is fuel dilution. Every time it gets shut off during a regen, or just doing regen in general, the oil ends up a little more diluted, and the oil grows. On "high sulfur" trucks it's no big deal to go a lot longer. On my last 6.0, I'd regularly go 10K... -

Sure thing. It's not much to look at yet, but it's coming along. Paint prep took way longer than expected, and I'm about 98%ready to mask. Tuesday after work is the newly rescheduled paint day. Between the last couple weeks I've been able to find enough time to paint all the jambs including inside the fuel door, fenders, doors, hood, and rear section. I put an extra coat of pearl on, so it's more noticable that it's not just a generic white; kind of like gm's white diamond color. I'll...- Wayne

Interior color change. Need help
Thanks for the info. 15 times?!? Dang. Does it get crusty feeling, or the same as original? Do you have contact info for the seat belt people? I'd like to do it right. The color bond stuff is advertised as translucent refresher, and not to change color, so 15 times makes sense I guess. I'm glad...- Wayne

Interior color change. Need help
I'm trying to finish my '08 excursion project, and am 99% sure I'll be converting the tan leather '03 ex interior, and tan (xlt for now) dash all to black. I've got the head liner under control, by just ordering new padded black fabric identical to OE, and seats will be katzkin black leather...- Wayne

My 86 Fummins Project
Got any links to said lights? I ran the LMC ones, and loved them. I'm sure you could do an HID or LED conversion on these as they use a replaceable modern element.- Wayne
