    Well got the cracked block out tonight, didn't see where the crack is yet but I can see the bottom of the lifter that went democrat, it's all broken off and the roller missing.

    Well got the engine torn down a bit last night. Got the back cover off, and front cover off, oil cooler out and the turbo pedestal. What worries me was when I took the drain plug off there was a bit of metal shavings on the magnet of the plug. As of right now I'm not sure where it came from...

    Little update. Finally got my truck out of my apartment complex parking lot and to my buddies house. Moving the new to me motor over there after work today and then tearing it down tomorrow. Also ordering my lifters from side action diesel today and possibly all my seals and gaskets from sunrise
