    I notice the same tranny issue with my tsd tune seems to only happen though at 1/2-3/4 throttle for me, but a for power I love it. but I'm back using my SRL, plus my truck starts a little easier with the SRL. Sent from my HTC Hero S using Tapatalk

    Thanks. I just may go with that one then. I've been bouncing around between the 80 and 40. Bill said the 80 has some slight smoke without an ecm tune and I don't want that for emissions testing.

    Bill- You were saying that the atlas 80 had some slight smoke, but if i were to get the it and had to do a emissions test could and ecm tune be used to pull some fuel so that there wasnt any smoke during a snap test?

    Well dang, guess I'll follow the laws and go with the atlas 40. Does the atlas 40 allow am ecm tune writer the tune writing flexibility Matt was talking about (he writes my tunes so I was curious)?

    Sweet! Thanks for the report Mwilbur. 80 atlas for me it is. I'm sure you can probably pass CA emissions. Even with just the ficm tune its just a but more than a tow tune and I've never seen smoke with my tow tunes. I live I CA and I'll be giving it a go :) but like already stated I'm sure...

    I too was wondering the same thing. I dont tow a lot, but I dont want to loose my ability to use the truck what is intended for- towing. The Hercules sounds awesome but I think its more than I need. Would the Atlas 80 be suitable with a tow tune and still be able to keep things in check you...

    +1 lower rpm is where the bigger body, stock injector is supposed to shine so I would be more interested in that than an rpm higher than 3000.
