It doesnt empty. It will go down about 2 to 3 quarts if i remember right. No need to have someone else pouring fluid in while it idles. It is completley ok. Just watch the video and follow it and you will come out great. Thats what i did. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G891A using Tapatalk -

Last time i added the amount i took out then removed the line and had the wife start the truck. Then i added how much came out when i had the line off. BUILD - RCD Longblock/Elite Single

About to upgrade from 7.3 to a 6.7
The factory part connects from the cold side intercooler pipe to the engine with a big plastic adapter and goofy wire clip. After awhile they get brittle and break even in a stock truck. Heck i have seen a 6.7 with 20k miles blow one out. H and s, Maryland desel performance, rudys, etc all sell... -

You are correct e locker or open diff. A lot of people run a Detroit trutrac (really good limited slip) or a mechanical locker.
