I have a FASS 125GPH and run a 5/8 draw tube and 1/2” up to filter housing as well as return to tank. The 5/8 supply hose comes over top of tank and drops into the pump inlet. Coolant filter myth?
Ummmmm Cat has their name on their coolant. But if they are using a producer I’m unaware. The CAT EC-1 is what these engines need. Ford really out did themselves when the pulled that Gold crap out of their magic hat and proceeded to dumped it into everything with a crankshaft. May be too... -

PSDUSER1 nailed it. Caster is what gives the truck a solid tracking. Now if you have slop in steering nothing will save you but new parts. 4* pos caster is what you want.- Mhatlen

That’s awesome Decker, it does take some work to put in a better pump. But it’s worth it in the long run over the stock ones. Pretty common for the stock pumps to start loosing pressure over time and most are unaware. Till injectors start going bad from it. If you have any pictures I’m sure...- Mhatlen

Pull the pan and see if it looks good, metal free by good. If it looks good then by God get to it. By all means go buy a heavy aluminum pan with fins so it bounces off next time. Install the pan and top off the transmission. I would have 12 quarts on hand because torque converter is only place...- Mhatlen
