    Stock Transmission Longevity

I have 199k miles on my original transmission. Been tuned since 145k and have fought funky shifts most of that time. At first I had canned tunes on a Torque Tech T1 and shifts were pretty good, when I went to SCT then MM and GH the problems started and they haven't stopped. I have a 1-2 shift...

Just bough Street max X and 33% Industrial Inj pump, What to expect?

I have their single turbo kit. Mine is a 64mm but they now make 66 and 69 versions as well. I have had no issues with mine but many have told me Industrial's stuff is junk. Their customer service has been great and I'm happy with the kit. I think any modified pump will be more prone to failure...

Just bough Street max X and 33% Industrial Inj pump, What to expect?

Need more detail on the turbo and your truck. I assume since you were looking at a '15 pump you are '11-'14 so 33% pump will boost you pretty good with the right tuning.

First impressions of a non vgt on my '11 6.7

Mine does the same. Used to be 1-2 shift did it but now 3-4 and 5-6 every once in a while. Usually conditions are the same when it happens like when I am very light on the throttle because I am in heavy traffic. I wouldn't be shopping for a transmission yet, unless you have the $ to burn. I have...

    2011 6.7 s366 needs to know

I don't have the exact same set up but do have non vgt. I am not lifted and have factory wheel/tire and mine hauls 15k pounds in 6th with cruise all day long. It will downshift on 5% grades or more and I locked out 6th in the mountains of New Mexico but on the flats it is plenty good. I average...

First impressions of a non vgt on my '11 6.7

How would you describe a flare? I have a unique shift from 3-4, if on the throttle 50% or better it is firm but if under 50% it is more like a slide hammer shift. Slight delay and then firmly into 4th. I'm getting it in 5-6 now as well. It has been this way for many thousands of miles so I have...

    Stroking

ok. I'll be calling you for what ever I decide on be it stroked or dual pumps.

    Stroking

I was referring to Industrial, they have 33% for 1,700 and 55% for 1,800. I know the Midwest pump is almost 2,500.

    Stroking

I don't disagree but I'm on a budget. I can get the LPFP and stroked CP4 for less than just dual fuel. I don't drag race, pull, or attend dyno days so I won't be taxing the pump that much I don't think. I could be wrong though.

    Stroking

Thanks for the feedback. I have 197k miles and would like to get the most out of my turbo without risking internals. I feel H&S lift pump and a 30% over CP4 pump could be the ticket. I guess if it takes a dump and kills injectors and all it'll be reason to go big but trucks pretty fun as it is...

    Stroking

Bringing this back to the top to see how the OP feels about the stroked pump. I have a non vgt with dual alternators and thinking I want to go with a stroked pump over dual fuel but I recall concerns about longevity and whether the boost is worth the $ and risk over dual fuelers.

    Replacing stock F250 subwoofer

I bought a box for 2 10s and used a JL Audio ATV amp to power them along with an Audio Control Lc2i and it sounds great. Certainly not cheaper than just replacing the factory sub but for under 500 bucks well worth it for the improvement.

    F350 blocks on F250

350 blocks from the shortbed are tapered and not tapered on the longbed with carrier bearings. It does make a difference, I bought 4" blocks for my 350 with overload springs and the blocks have a slight taper so I have driveline vibration.

To CCV mod or not to CCV mod, that is the question

I removed the throttle body on mine at 150k after blowing the intercooler pipe and it was so sludged up I don't think the actuator could even work. I went with non vgt at 160k miles and CCV was reroute and I have had intermittent smoke, generally when it is warm and humid but no oil under the...

First impressions of a non vgt on my '11 6.7

I don't have dual fuel but will say it took the right tune for mine to be calibrated correctly for non vgt. With H&S canned tunes I could "roll coal" for miles which I did not think was cool at all. I have towed my TT through Santa Fe and didn't have issues with smoke after I changed tunes but I...

    2012 F350 OEM blocks

Bump. Still looking for OEM F350 block for long bed & 2 piece driveshaft (no taper). Will pay or trade for 4" blocks I have on now.

Feedback from people that have installed the streetmaxr 65.5 turbo and 37" tires.

Streetmax is VGT right? I have non VGT 64mm from Industrial and when I was on 37s it was far from optimal. I had issues like you where shifts were funky up top and seemed to go from 4th to 6th skipping 5th altogether at times. I had 37/13.50/20s and 3:55s, now I am stock with factory wheels/tire...

150,000 miles on my 6.7 and what I should look for.

I have a 194k on my 2012 and only things I have replaced were the hot side intercooler boot and the turbo. The turbo did not fail on me but long story short I was installing E G R kit and broke a bolt off, shop took things apart to install new exhaust manifold and saw turbo was loose and had...
