-25 offset puts the tires a smidge outside the fenderwell and makes the truck dirty fast but looks cool as sh*t and you can straddle speed bumps. I had that on my truck and it only rubbed at full turn and stuff which wasn't often. Looked very good, then I lifted and went to 37s on the same 20x10 -25s now back to level on stockers. Looking to go back to a -25 and 35s lol.- doo dah

Trans adaptive learning reset
Would this be the same for a 2012? I loaded TD and shifting is pretty horrible right now even after a couple weeks driving it daily. I have searched a ton online and everything is for F150s, even when I search for 6r140.- doo dah

Thanks for all the input. I know that going to TSD is the thing to do but convincing the spouse that I need to do this after I have already spent around 1200 on tunes alone becomes a challenge. I will just load the GH engine file until I can get in to see Chris @ TSD. I know it won't take...- doo dah

Suncoast recommended to not tune the transmission but I figured I'd try it to see if shifts would be a little different to avoid lugging the engine. They were schizo for a week and then became more consistent but no help on the smoke. I'll keep the trans as is to avoid issues with loading and...- doo dah

I have an S&B intake that came with the turbo. TD tunes have been smoky compared to GH. My GH tune is clean as a whistle and I have to work to get under the turbo and produce anything more than light haze. Against my better judgement I also loaded the trans tune (I have a Suncoast built Trans)...- doo dah

Need Input on TD Tunes
Just got y revised tunes from TD through NL for the addition of my CP4.2. Truck runs like a fat pig. Tons of smoke and EGTs are very high, even at idle. Is it possible that the tunes are VGT and not Non VGT? Seems to be putting a ton of fuel down low because the amount of smoke I produce even at...- doo dah

My PMFs hold up fine with over 15k pounds being towed quite a bit. Just finished over 2k mile round trip from near sea level all the way to 11k feet towing my 42' fiver with no creaks, cracks, etc...- doo dah

Help me decide between two trucks
Get the 450. I have 2012 SRW 350 and love the way it tows plus it is a Lariat so very luxury car like on the inside but if I had to tow any more than I do now I'd want the dually. My pin weight is less than 4k and trailer is right at 15k so not overloaded but would be nice to have the extra... -

My lock up is heavy, almost like another shift. Don't know what converter is in yours but the Suncoast is a heavy and huge part. There is no doubt when it locks up even with stock trans file. lol- doo dah

Morgan did know his stuff for sure but doubt he'd put his rep on the line for anyone's tuning other than his. I planned on having him tune mine but he passed before mine was built and installed. Shop that installed it recommended no tuning and Suncoast recommended no tuning. I have a 750+ capable trans with only ~550 going through it. Transmission shop that built it also recommended no tuning, said the transmission is built to not require line pressure changes, etc... At one time...- doo dah

I have pretty much the same set up except on factory 275/65/20. Not a noticeable difference between TD or GH. TD has a bit more fuel (smoke) down low and GH runs cleaner overall. I'm willing to bet that the HP/TQ #s between the 2 would be close to the same. I like the GH a little better but it...- doo dah

You don't get any codes when it does this? This forum isn't active anymore so I'd try other online resources, post in the '17 and up forum as most of those guys had 11-16s before they upgraded, and maybe call Midwest or the place you bought your tuner from and see if they have any guidance. I... -
Anyone seen these rims powder coated black?

My opinion is keep the 6.7. If you must have a dually then get a 11-16 350 DRW. I have a SRW 350 with 215k miles and it pulls great, so good I don't think I would benefit from a dually even with the weight I am pulling most of the time (15k lbs). I have friend with a 08 f250 and he has had no...
