    Why do 99.5+ superduty 7.3's have different hp ratings?

    Maybe it was a transplant then? It had an XLE4 ECM, and the E99 turbocharger, but clearly said 250 HP on the valvecover sticker. It felt stronger by my butt dyno than the late 99 250HP that I currently have.

    so far in 7.3's I've seen 215, 225, 235, 250, and 275, I'd have to assume it was all about the horsepower war that was / is going on. My old early 99, and my current late 99 are both 250 Hp engines, although the early 99 felt considerably stronger stock and chipped.

    so you want him to drop $750 just to re-calibrate his speedometer? On that note I just paid $359 for the AE ford bundle, I'll be coming through middle of next month too, not sure how much time I'll have though. I still owe you for letting me crash in your spare room.

    Address says Encinitas, but it's really more Lucadia. Nice enough area but too many people, especially with the starbucks they built across the street.

    Not new to diesels but starting to play with strokers more all the time and liked what I saw here, thought I'd better join up. From Idaho, grew up with a lot of the guys at Bullydog, living in so-cal at the moment.
