So it sounds like maybe fox seem to be the most popular. My question is on a leaf spring truck is it worth it to buy the top brand? im gonna upgrade to something but do good shocks make a difference no matter what its getting put on?

with a good tow tune i dont see you having any problems....I mean other then the typical 6.0 stuff...but once you get that fixed or if its already been taking care your good to go

will the shocks make a big difference in the ride? I got the factory rancho shocks on my truck and im thinking the ride is getting to be a little more rough....I was thinking maybe time to replace shocks buy werent sure if it was worth spending more money on the bigger name ones...

i was talking parts too....from wat i saw, the one tie rod was close to 200 bucks

from wat ive been quoted, and this is having someone is doing the work....500 for tie rods, 500 for ball joints per side

unless your trying to do something super crazy, i doubt you will really ever need to slide the hitch back....i pull with my short bed all the time, I do have a slider, and i think ive unlocked it maybe twice.....most of your corner are gonna be wide enough you wont need it.
