When I kept breaking flex plates on my 7.3 I talked to Brian at BTS and he said to replace the starter. He said he had a few that fixed. I totaled the truck before I got a lot of miles on it after the starter replacement, so I can't say for sure if it solved mine.

Yep, a lot of 7.3 guys switched to 203 degree thermostats. It was suppose to help both power and mileage.

I am getting ready to do a complete coolant flush with Restore and Restore Plus, along with switching to ELC coolant. Truck has 68,000 miles on it. Is a coolant filter needed after the flush or will the flush remove everything the coolant filter would catch?

I live in Montana, so I am not sure that I want lower temp thermostats, but I also am not sure that I want their higher than stock thermostats.

What made you choose the Mishimoto thermostats over OEM? I haven't been able to find anything comparing the two.

Getting ready to do radiator hoses and thermostats. Any recommendations on what brand to use: OEM, Gates, or Mishimoto? How about hoses: OEM or Gates?

Mine has definitely not always done it. I am just not sure how soon after I loaded the Beta tune that it started.

I doubt that this is related to the 325 beta tune, because it I don't remember it doing it when I first loaded it, but my cooling fan has been coming on immediately after cold starting my pickup. It goes off after several minutes. Anyone else experiencing this?

Does anyone know a way to remove the red paint from the lettering on the fender vents? I am talking about the part that says "V8 Power Stroke." I tried hitting them with acetone and it didn't seem to affect the paint at all.

I sure this has been discussed else where, but which filter do most prefer: AFE Pro5R, dry, or Pro Guard 7?

Is it only the SOTF Beta users that should have the smoke limit adjustment? I used the download link from your other thread and now have OST for the 325 program, but did not gain the smoke limit adjustment.
